360-Degree Video Showcase

Immerse yourself in contemporary cinema at Petrosains’ 360-Degree Video Showcase, a pilot programme in collaboration with KDU University College designed to showcase emergent storytellers in virtual reality filmmaking. Held at Galleria 1, this 4-day event will bring together young storytellers creating 360-degree short movies that propels the medium forward while addressing social and cultural issues.

The schedule for "Conversation with the Young Storytellers" are as follows:
1. Mendaki - 24 Nov (Thursday)
2. The Persian Altruist - 25 Nov (Friday)
3. A Twist of Fate - 26 Nov (Saturday)
4. KLamity - 27 Nov (Sunday)

Ticket holders will be able to experience all 4 immersive videos. Attendees are also welcome to participate in the conversation with the young storytellers from 2PM to 3PM every day to find out their challenges and learning experiences in using new production technology for storytelling.

Doors will open at 11AM and close at 5PM.

NOTE: If you would like to participate as a RESPONDENT to our research study, you'll get the privilege to view the movies away from the crowd and walk away with special gifts. This is only limited to the first 20 people. Your feedback will be beneficial to us when we embark on a second pilot next year.
